One of the most impressive and beautiful areas of the prefecture of Evritania is the Gorge Panta Vrechi, located between the villages of Roska and Doliana south of the prefecture.
The name of this separate gorge is due to its specific area, which does not exceed 80 meters in length. You can visit it from June to September
There, the ice waters that come from the steep mountain of Kaliakouda, in their attempt to become one with the waters of the Krikeliotis River, find a way out of springs at the tops of the gorge creating beautiful waterfalls.
Due to their large height, however, their flow is not continuous and compact. Instead, it breaks into a large radius in small and large drops, creating a continuous artificial rain. The result is a magical landscape!
To reach the gorge you can choose between three routes. In all, you will need to cross by car, ideal jeep, a distance and then hiking in the river to reach the Always Ramp Point.
Whatever you follow will be compensated by the wild beauty of the landscapes you will meet.
The routes in brief

Hiking in Krikeliotis starts from Stournaras Roskas Bridge. It's about a 40-minute walk along the river, when on rocks (who want special attention especially when they are wet because they are particularly slippery).
During the summer months the water level hardly exceeds the height of an adult's waist, and this happens in some places only, making it easy to cross even for children.
At the beginning of your journey to the gorge you will see Krikeliotis' hanging bridge, continuing to admire some small waterfalls and springs, which are poured into the river, sparking the spectacular spectacle of rain with the small rainbows of Panta Vrechi.
At the base of the waterfalls of Panta Vrechi, small natural swimming pools are created, which are bordered by frozen and yet crystal clear waters, which are suitable for those who are bold to swim.
The gorge offers many beautiful spots for lovers of photography.
